As the UK suffers its third heatwave of the year and the economic and human toll unleashed by last month’s extreme heat has become clearer, we should be in no doubt that the case for urgent climate action is needed now! Our failing infrastructure shows us we need to avoid the catastrophic effects of climate change through doing what we can to prevent it, not just hope to adapt later.
